63 Option Check Sum Error

Description

Each time the PCM is powered up. A comparison of tire size and options are performed. Tire size and options must compare to valid combination of options stored in electronically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM).

Code Parameters

Information Flag 63 will set if:

  • Invalid combinations of tire size and/or options.

Diagnostic Aids

  • If Flag 63 is set, recalibrate PCM. If Flag 63 reoccurs, replace PCM.
